Why to become an au pair?
Au pair is the easiest way to fix up work abroad. Au pair is a live in job concerned with tending to the needs of children and light housework. The positions are open to women who have substantial experience of working with children and like being with children.
Au pairing is the ideal way to experience a foreign culture from the inside, learn a language, improve yourself and obtain self confidence. For many a childcare job is simply an easy transition to the world of work and a way of acquiring a higher standard of leaving done is normally possible in one's early working years.
You have your own room inside the host family house, in many occasions your own TV, the use of car and the chance to accompany the host family on exotic holidays. In exchange of working hours you receive pocket money per week according to duties, country, qualifications and agreement.
Who can become an au pair?
Girls (rarely boys), E.U NATIONALS, aged 18-28 who want to spend a period of 6-9-12 and / or 2-3 Summer months to another country, look after children and play creatively with them for a minimum of 25 hours per week and maximum 40 hour per week.
Where you can be an au pair?
Currently we place au pairs all over Europe and U.S.A but especially in U.K, France, Italy, Greece, Germany, Spain.
Where are the au pair duties?
- The au pair is expected to help with general light housework (simple cooking, hoovering, dusting) and young children.
- Hours vary from 30-40 per week plus 2-3 evening babysittings.
- The whole program is written in the family's application.
- Au pair is treated as a member of the host family and in return she should make every effort to join in the family life.
What is the procedure to become an au pair?
- When your application has arrived in our office our agency starts to find a suitable position for you.
- Our agency will contact you as soon as a suitable position is found. In case you are interested in the host family offer you receive, you will get in contact with them and get full details of the position as well as their profile application, the host family letter and photograph.
- The au pair pays for her own flight to and from the host family country. A list of other au pairs in the area is given to the au pair on arrival by the agency.

What are the family requirements?
- Include an au pair as a member of the family.
- Speak a foreign language in a communicative level.
- Provide the au pair with private room, full board and lodging.
- Limited with the pre-defined program of the au pair.
- Pay the au pair the pre-defined pocket money per week.
- Arrange for a parent to be the primary caregiver for any child under 12 months of age.
- Ensure that one parent remains in the home during the first three days that the au pair is with your family.
- Obtain automobile insurance if au pair is expected to drive the family car.
Whar is the procedure to have an au pair?
- Ask for au pair literature by completing the Information Application Form
- When you receive our booklet fill the family registration form and send it to us.
- After processing your application, you receive several candidates including essays, photos, references and medical reports. You contact any of the au pair applicants which seem like a good fit for a telephone interview. You talk personally and ask any further questions.
- You select your au pair. Once you have made your match, simply let us know. We'll make arrangements for the rest!
